• Brigadier General Mohammad Hafizur Rahman – Recalled from his post as defence adviser at the Bangladesh High Commission in India, promoted to major general, and appointed GOC of the 55th Infantry Division. • Major General JM Imdadul Islam – Former GOC of the 55th Infantry Division, now appointed Commandant of the East Bengal Regimental Centre (EBRC), responsible for training and regimental administration.
